  • Annual Christmas Party
    Arranged well in advance this year
    December 13th at Restaurant Oggi in Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Attended by all (except Daniel Girouard). Dinner with an Italian flavour this year, but no dancing to the regret perhaps of few. Lots of social chat this year and surprisingly little in the way of (dare I say it) Business Talk. Even Ming made it in town from Toronto this year, and my wife joined the fun as well (whisper it so she doesn't know anyone's talking about her on the Internet).
  • McDonald's Canada National Franchisee Convention
    Convention Of McDonald's Franchise Owners
    Held in Quebec City this year from July 9th to July 11th. We presented our MacPlus product as part of the Supplier Showcase and also provided a photo upload service for all exhibitors. The photo gallery can be found in our Photo Gallery.
  • Canadian Grand Prix
    2007 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada
    Held at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal on June 10th, with practice and qualifying sessions held on June 8th and 9th. One of the major attractions for tourists is the purchase of souvenirs. This in fact brings in more income than sales of tickets. Once again, Canacomp were there to bring debit/credit card services to a number of concession stands. We have a few photos from this event in our Photo Gallery.
  • US Grand Prix
    2007 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix
    Held in Indianapolis on June 17th, with practice and qualifying sessions held on June 15th and 16th. Canacomp were there as well to provide the same debit/credit card services as at the Canadian Grand Prix.
  • The 100-yard Dash
    Perhaps closer to 100 feet
    The weekend of April 28,2007 saw our employees and a number of helpful volunteers move the contents of our old offices across the rear parking lot to our new, recently renovated location. Actually we must admit that those renovations are still far from complete, but we have our phones, our computer network, heating & air-conditioning, and most important, our plumbing!
